Aurora Aksnes is an Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. She was born in Stavanger in June 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. The name of her can also be stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through Decca Records Decca Records in May 2015 with great praise from musicians and music blogs as well as the press. She has recorded several high-profile cover songs, like Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft and being attracted by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music.
